This is a real bummer… the Supreme Court taking away the will of people from the island of Kauai on this important tax matter. Now I wonder if the efforts of Let Honolulu Vote.org are going to be jepordy.

As a matter of principle and certainly law, the voting of tax policy should be allowed to be taken by the people whenever it is deemed necessary.

Hawaii needs a constitutional amendment to allow for statewide initiative, referendum and recall.
