Girls Girls Girls!
So there I was one late night posting away at one of my favorite web boards, Hawaii Threads.com. The subject was “Female Tribute Bands”. I just added a bunch of bands that I made up on the spot without realizing that a real band existed somewhere. The names I made up included Some Girls - Rolling Stones; Girls Don’t Cry - The Cure; Sweet Emotions - Aerosmith; and Girls Girls Girls - Motley Crue - notice all the group names are either after songs or an album. I posted the message and forgot all about it.
Today I get a message from Nikita Sels, bass player for the only female Motley Crue cover band, “Girls Girls Girls.”
She writes: “i was doing an internet search to see what i could find about us and saw your posting on a hawaiithreads message board. Girls Girls Girls was a fantasy all-girl tribute band you mentioned, and alas, we do exist! check us out!”
